Mbah Surip, sang musisi lucu dan konyol yang populer dengan lagu Tak Gendong menghembuskan nafas tadi siang di RS Pusdikes Angkatan Darat, Kramat Jati, Jakarta Timur. Besar dugaan kematian Mbah Tak Gendong ini karena kelelahan dan jantung akibat jadwalnya yang begitu padat.
Sebelum berpulang ke rahmatullah, Mbah Surip sempat punya keinginan untuk memiliki sebuah Helikopter. Namun mimpi pria yang bernama lengkap Urip Ariyanto ini pupus sudah.
Pelajaran yang dapat kita ambil dari peristiwa ini adalah maut bisa datang KAPAN SAJA. Baik itu Tua maupun Muda….Kaya dan Senang seperti Mbah tukang Gendong Surip, maupun muda seperti saya.
