Bluehost.com: Big name! Suck a Lot!

Mengenai web hosting ini, sebenarnya saya agak kecewa. Ternyata benar kata orang orang, Hosting Over sell itu gak baik. Baru saja pindah ke Bluehost, naisinpo.com langsung mengalamai Error “WordPress White screen of death”,  saudara kembarnya “Blue Screen of Death” nya Windows XP, saat mau mengaktifkan Plugin wp-pagenavi.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home2/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/wp-pagenavi/scb/load.php on line 12

Setelah searching lewat mbah Google, ternyata error tersebut disebabkan karena webhosting kita gak support function nya PHP 5. Lho? bukannya Bluehost udah PHP 5.x? Itu dia yang bikin saya pusing.

Help Desk yang tidak Kurang serius menolong

Akhirnya saya pun coba mengirimkan pesan ke Support Departement nya Bluehost. Namun malah dijawab dengan jawaban yang sangat klasik kalau Plugin wp-pagenavi nya yang mengalami error. Padahal di Hosting saya yang lama semuanya berjalan lancar! Masak hosting sebesar Bluehost gak bisa menjalankan Plugin wp-pagenavi? benar benar konyol . Akhirnya setelah sedikit “mengancam” minta refund, baru dah mereka serius kerjanya dan akhirnya naisinpo.com bija online lagi . Mereka menambahkan baris kode ini di file .htaccess.

Besar dugaan kalau default PHP nya Bluehost itu PHP 4, makanya fungsi fungsi PHP 5 jadi error semua .

Conclusion : Indonesia Webhosting Customer Service MUCH better

Yup, gak bisa dibantah lagi. Kita tinggal Chat di YM tentang masalahnya, kasi tau Password Cpanel dan ~presto..!! segala masalah di Blog kita sudah beres. Berdasarkan pengalaman saya hosting di Dracoola host. So, bagi kawan kawan yang mau pindah ke Hosting luar, sebaiknya segeralah belajar cara memindahkan blog ke hosting baru, karen dijamin para CS webhosting bule gak bakal mau ngebantuin transfer blog, yang ada dia malah nawarin makek Jasa Transfer blog berbayar sponsor mereka .
